Did you allready reboot your modem and router ? I have problems with my internet since the first day I got it, always slow and unreliable, that's why I said "Nothing new", in regards to your message. I made complains, i had my modem changed, i had a instalateur in my house, everything you can think of, now i Just live with the idea that Nieuw Oosteinde is a crap place for internet, you have very limited choices and where you have a choice is either expensive as hell or slow speed (I called KPN today to do an "overstaap", and the max speed they have available in my area is 8Mbps) for 25€/month. |

At the caiway shop they told me that I live too far from the centrale and the same cable is used for a lot of clients. We are in the middle of 21 century in a well populated city, i am not in Africa, but anyway, who I am I to complain? just a poor customer that pays 40euros/month to caiway |

And btw. yesterday evening i was right, in 1h the speed went down from 16-17 Mbps to 1-3Mbps, as expected. |

In your case the best thing you can do is call the helpdesk so they can research the problem for you. Maybe there is an traffic issue there in the neighborhood. If you call them and ask to watch the traffic in your neighberhood they can maybe look to the network traffic in the neighberhood on a specific time that you have slow speed internet connection. |

Zo en nu weer even on topic  Nog even en het is december, Caiway test mijn geduld wel heel erg en misschien ook die van jullie. Ik kijk nog steeds uit naar de beloofde snelheids verhoging die vermeld stond in de digitale nieuwsbrief van januari 2010. Ik baal er toch wel een beetje van dat ik in het Caiway gebied woont als ik zo de andere regio's bekijk waar Glasvezel tot aan de kast/woning en Ziggo/UPC geleverd wordt. Die krijgen veel meer voor hun geld  Misschien toch maar verhuizen dan?  |
